About me

I am a inventive Kiwi, have worked many years in electronics including automotive systems and have done a few interesting things as hobbies.
I hope to share some of my interests with you here on this website.

My hobbies:

NavCoder- a program to code and change settings on BMW nav systems.
POI Maker- an Excel spreadsheet that can be used to make POI files for use in BMW Mk4 nav systems. Free.
VW Hands-Free - a few pages on how to adapt handset cradles for use with the VW handsfree system in Passats from 2007 onwards.
Converting radios from Japanese to NZ / Euro mode - a few pages on how to convert ex-Japan car radios from Japanese mode to Europen mode. Useful if you have a second-hand car from Japan, that has been imported into New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, the UK, or the Middle East
